C of C’s fly half Chris Natoli scored the match’s first try off a nice pass from scrummy Jon Sussingham to take a 5-0 lead.  UNC-Charlotte would score the game’s next two tries, taking a 10-5 lead into the half.  C of C came out with a purpose in the second half.  Jon Sussingham tied the match on a pick and go from a couple meters out.  UNCC would answer right back with a try of their own followed by the game’s first successful conversion attempt, putting the visitors ahead 17-10.  C of C’s Alex Cook would answer from the wing with a crucial try.  The conversion missed and UNCC remained ahead by two, 17-15.  Soon after, Jon Sussingham kicked a miracle ball off the ruck, chased it down, got pushed, and therefore awarded a penalty try.  Natoli’s conversion extended the lead to 22 -17 which was the final.  Jon Sussingham won Man of the Match honors for the second game in a row for his .  The C of C Rugby Football Club has a win under its belt and some confidence heading into this weekend’s tournament.
